(PICTON, ON) - Two people have been charged with assault with a weapon after an incident in Picton.

On Saturday, November 1, 2025, around 2:15 am, officers with the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported stabbing at a local residence.

Officers arrived to find three victims with non-life-threatening injuries. Another individual reported they were threatened with a knife.

Officers recovered a weapon at the scene, and two individuals were arrested.

Phoenix DRAPER, age 23 of Belleville, has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • Uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm
  • Assault with a weapon - two counts
  • Assault causing bodily harm
  • Unlawfully in a dwelling
  • Fail to comply with probation order

Cameron BUSH, age 24 of Belleville, has been charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon - two counts
  • Assault causing bodily harm
  • Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose

Both accused remain in custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
