(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) - A person was charged after police received a disturbance call at Spine Beach.
On July 18, 2025, at approximately 1:30 pm the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complainant about an older man who was intoxicated and making inappropriate comments to the lifeguards. When police arrived on scene, the man was located and arrested.
Donald (Don) DAVIDSON, 76-years-old, from Elliot Lake was charged with:
- Operation while impaired by alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on September 11, 2025.
