PERTH RESIDENT CHARGED IN INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE CASE
(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Lanark County OPP officers responded to an incident in Perth on June 7, 2025. The investigation resulted in the arrest of a 26-year-old man.
The male has been charged with:
- Aggravated assault
- Assault causing bodily harm
- Utter threats
- Mischief
- Assault
- Unlawfully in a dwelling
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on June 9, 2025.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
