(MALAHIDE, ON) - The Elgin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), has charged an individual following a mischief investigation.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at approximately 9:54 pm, members of the Elgin OPP were dispatched to a report of mischief to property.

As a result, Khaled ALTAWEEL, 19-years-old from Malahide Township was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Failure to comply with release order and, - Mischief Under $5000

The accused was held for bail in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
