(ALVINSTON, ON) - An individual is charged following a disturbance in Alvinston.

On June 24, 2025, at approximately 7:20 pm, members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address on River Street, Alvinston, following a dispute that occurred between two individuals.

As a result of the investigation, Julian BEAUMONT, a 57-year-old of Brooke-Alvinston, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offence:

• Assault

There were no injuries reported.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on August 18, 2025.
