(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) - One person has died following a two-vehicle collision in St. Clair Township.
On November 6, 2025, at approximately 4:50 pm, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with St. Clair Township Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway 40 and Courtright Line.
The collision involved a minivan and a passenger vehicle. Each vehicle was occupied by a driver and one passenger.
As a result of the collision, a 51-year-old individual from London was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other individuals were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both the southbound and northbound lanes of Highway 40 were closed between Oil Springs Line and Moore Line for several hours to allow for the investigation, but have since reopened.
Lambton OPP, with the assistance of the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team, continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
