POLICE LAY MULTIPLE STUNT DRIVE CHARGES


(SOUTHERN BRUCE COUNTY, ON) - The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged three motorists with stunt driving over this past weekend.

On June 20, 2025, at approximately 7:22 pm, a vehicle was stopped for travelling in excess of 130 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone along Bruce Road 20, Municipality of Kincardine.

On June 21, 2025, at approximately 10:01 pm, a vehicle was stopped for travelling in excess of 130 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone along Highway 21, Municipality of Kincardine.

On June 22, 2025, at approximately 12:27 pm, a vehicle was stopped for travelling in excess of 130 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone along Bruce Road 10, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.

A 24-year-old from New Brunswick, a 23-year-old from Kitchener, and a 50-year-old from Kanata were each charged with Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt, contrary to Section 172(1) of the Highway Traffic Act.

Anyone charged with stunt driving receives a 14-day vehicle impoundment and a 30-day driver’s licence suspension.
