POLICE RESPOND TO SERIOUS DAMAGE AT LOCAL HOTEL

One Person Charged

(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after receiving reports of mischief at a local hotel.

On Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at approximately 12:30 am, Renfrew OPP responded to reports of a customer damaging property with a fire extinguisher.

As a result of the investigation, Felipe NAPOLES, age 41 from Barrie was charged with:

  • Mischief- obstructs, interrupts or interferes with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property
  • Mischief over $5000
  • Causing a disturbance

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke Court on September 10, 2025.
