POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT


(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident in Simcoe.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at approximately 5:19 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported theft at a business on Queensway East in Simcoe.

The investigation determined that an unidentified individual, described as a female with a heavy build and tattoos, wearing a green sweater and khaki-coloured pants, entered the store, concealed alcohol, and left without paying. The individual was last seen leaving the area in a black Ford Edge sport utility vehicle, travelling eastbound on Highway 3.
