(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) - Police are requesting that any witnesses come forward regarding an ongoing assault investigation.

At approximately 2:37 am on Sunday, June 15, 2025, members of the Haldimand County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Haldimand County Paramedic Services, responded to a reported assault on Kohler Road in Cayuga.

The investigation revealed that a group of individuals became involved in an altercation on the property, during which one person was physically assaulted by several others. One suspect was described as a Caucasian male with a heavy build, tattoos, and long hair on top with the sides shaved.

The suspects fled the area following the incident, and the victim was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
