(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a call to a party in Drummond-North Elmsley Township.

Lanark County OPP officers responded to a residence on Saturday, September 27, 2025, just after 11:30 pm, after receiving a complaint that a large group of people had been pepper sprayed. It was also discovered that the individual engaged in a physical altercation prior to fleeing the area. The individual was later stopped by Ottawa Police.

As a result of the investigation, Jasper ROHANI 18 years-old, of Ottawa, has been charged with:

• Administer a noxious thing
• Assault with a weapon
• Unauthorized possession of a weapon

 The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, October 27, 2025.
