(UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance with the theft of a trailer and aviation fuel.

On Thursday October 2, 2025, at approximately 2:05 pm, the Nipissing West (Sudbury) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the theft of a trailer and fuel, off Highway 144, near Onaping Lake, Unincorporated Territory.

The trailer was described as an aluminum colour Kara, model: WGT with a white container on it, bearing an Ontario plate Z9459J. The trailer had various tools attached, with about 1,500 litres of aviation fuel inside the container. The approximate value of the trailer, tools and fuel are about $30,000.

Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and the individual(s) involved in the theft of these items.
