PUBLIC ASSISTANCE NEEDED WITH THE THEFT OF AN UTV AND TRAILER


(WEST NIPISSING, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) of interest in the theft of a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) and trailer.

On Sunday June 29, 2025, the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft from a local business on Highway 17, West Nipissing.

Sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday June 29, 2025, unknown person(s) attended a local business, broke through a locked fence, and removed a UTV and trailer from the property.

The UTV is described as a red 2024 Can-Am Defender Max XT HD9, with an Ontario plates 5D87K

The utility trailer is described as a black 2022 Miska Landscape, 24-feet in length, with an Ontario plate W52 66M.

The suspect’s vehicle was described as a newer white Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck.

Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual(s) and anyone else involved in the theft or possession of these item.
