SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON COLBORNE STREET RESULTS IN FIVE ARRESTS

Request to Withhold Previously Distributed Media Release

(ORILLIA, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Central Region is requesting that a previously distributed media release published on Monday, September 29, 2025, regarding suspicious activity on Colborne Street resulting in five arrests not be published or shared at this time.

This request is being made due to the sensitive nature of the ongoing investigation, and to ensure the integrity of the investigative process. We appreciate the cooperation of our media partners in respecting this request and refraining from further distribution or publication of the earlier release.
