(QUINTE WEST, ON) - The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has arrested and charged an individual in relation to separate incidents.  

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, at approximately 5:15 pm, Quinte West OPP responded to a report of threats at a residence in Trenton. 

Kevin SCURRY, age 32, from Trenton was charged with the following offences:

• Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - three counts
• Causing a disturbance
• Fail to comply with probation order

The accused was released from custody following a bail hearing.

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, the accused was arrested and charged with the following offences:  

• Fail to comply with probation order - two counts
• Failure to comply with release order - other than to attend court

The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario court of Justice in Belleville on Thursday, September 18, 2025.
