RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE RESULTS IN CHARGES

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin County (Moravian Town First Nation) has arrested one individual after an investigation involving a stolen motor vehicle.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 3:35 pm, members of the Moravian Town First Nations Police received a report of a possible stolen camper trailer located on a property on Centre Road in Moravian Town.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher BRITTON, 49-year-old of Chatham-Kent was charged with:

  • Possession of Property Obtained by crime over $5000

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Chatham Kent on the 14th of July 2025.
