(WHITEWATER REGION TWP, ON) - Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single-vehicle collision in Whitewater Region.

The collision occurred on May 29, 2025, at approximately 10:50 am on Beachburg Road. Investigation found that an eastbound pickup left the roadway on a curve, struck a telephone pole, and rolled. The driver, who was the lone occupant, was extricated from the vehicle by the Whitewater Region Fire Department.

The driver was transported to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics with non-life-threatening injuries.
