(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON)  - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a serious single vehicle collision.

Lanark County OPP, Renfrew County Paramedic Services and Mississippi Mills Fire Rescue responded to the collision on Bellamy Road, just before 12:00 pm on Monday, October 6, 2025.

The collision involved an eastbound pickup truck leaving the roadway. The male driver, 84-years-old, was transported by EMS to a regional trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Lanark County OPP continues to investigate, with assistance from OPP Traffic Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionist.

 Bellamy Road between the 4th Concession and Peninsula Road has reopened.
