(SOUTH DUNDAS TOWNSHIP, ON) - The Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a serious collision on Highway 401 Eastbound West of the Morrisburg (County Road 31) off ramp.
On Friday, August 15th, 2025, at approximately 10:20 am, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on Highway 401 Eastbound West of the Morrisburg (County Road 31) off ramp which involved three commercial motor vehicles. Traffic was slowed in the area due to the highway closure east of Morrisburg.
Officers with the Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SD&G) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the South Dundas Fire Department and Cornwall SDG Paramedics responded to the collision. Two vehicle occupants suffered serious injuries. One person was transported to an Ottawa area trauma centre by Air ORNGE.
The investigation is being led by SD&G OPP, with assistance from the SD&G Crime Unit, OPP Collision Reconstructionist and Technical Collision Investigators.
