SERIOUS COLLISION UNDER INVESTIGATION

One Person Suffered Life-Threatening Injuries

(QUINTE WEST, ON) - The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a serious collision.

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at approximately 6:45 pm, officers with Quinte West OPP, the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team (TIME), Quinte West Firefighters and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 2, east of Montrose Road in Quinte West.

The driver of a vehicle, a 60-year-old male from Quinte West, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other individuals were involved.
