(COBALT, ON) - Police executed a warrant and charged three individuals in Cobalt.
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at approximately 3:00 pm, members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in collaboration with the Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) and the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), executed a Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) Search Warrant at a residence on Lang Street, in Cobalt.
As a result of the search, officers seized suspected crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, fentanyl, hydromorphone pills, approximately $1,525 in Canadian currency, drug trafficking paraphernalia and packaging materials.
The estimated street value of the seized drugs is approximately $15,000.
Three individuals were arrested at the scene and are facing numerous drug-related charges:
Rayan BOWEN-THOMPSON, 20 years-of-age of age of North York was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine -two counts
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid
- Possession property obtained by crime Under $5,000
Crystal ADAMS, 44 years-of-age of Cobalt was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - cocaine -two counts
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking - methamphetamine
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid
- Possession property obtained by crime Under $5,000
Lyle ASH, 32 years-of-age of Cobalt, was charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance - opioid
- Possession of a Schedule I substance - methamphetamine
All three accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury at a later date.
