(BRANT COUNTY, ON) - One novice driver has been charged with Careless Driving following a single motor vehicle collision.

On June 29, 2025 at 2:14 am, members of Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of a single motor vehicle collision on Cockshutt Rd in the County of Brant.

As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male from Brantford was issued a 3-day licence suspension and has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:

• Careless Driving
• Novice Driver - B.A.C. above zero
