(ESSEX, ON) - On September 2, 2025, at approximately 2:45 pm, members of the Essex Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment received a report of a single motor vehicle into the ditch on 12th Concession Road Town of Essex

Officers arrived on scene and upon speaking to the driver, officers observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment for further testing.

As a result, Daniele BEER, 36-years-old, of Middlesex County, was charged with:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus), The accused is scheduled to appear on September 16, 2025, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor to answer to the charges

The accused was issued a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and a 14 day vehicle impoundment as per statute.
