(WEST PERTH, ON) - One person is injured following a single motor vehicle collision in the Municipality of North Perth.

On September 30, 2026 the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Perth County Paramedic Services and North Perth Fire Department, responded to a single motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Perth Road 173 and Perth Line 72.

At approximately 8:30 pm the lone occupant of the motorcycle lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The driver sustained serious injuries and was to a local trauma centre.

The intersection of Perth Road 173 and Perth Line 72 will remain closed while police continue their investigation. Updates will be provided as they become available.
