(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after single vehicle collision.

On October 26, 2025, at 9:39 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Coursey Line in Lucan Biddulph the report of a single vehicle collision.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Melissa ST. GERMAIN, a 40-year-old of Lucan, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:

• Operation while impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Careless driving
• Fail to report accident
• Fail to remain

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 27, 2025.
