(ZORRA TOWNSHIP, ON)  - An individual from Norfolk County is facing impaired driving related charges after a single vehicle collision on Road 68.

On October 26, 2025, at approximately 4:00 am, members of the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle collision that had occurred on Road 68, in the Township of Zorra. Officers attended and spoke with the lone occupant of the vehicle. There were no injuries reported as a result of the collision.

Adam Smith, 38-years-old, of Norfolk County, has been charged with:

• Operation while Impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while Impaired - Blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Driving while Under Suspension

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. 

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 9, 2025.
