(LAKESHORE, ON)- On Thursday August 7, 2025, at approximately 3:36 am, members from the Lakeshore Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to the report of a single vehicle collision on County Road 22 near Wallace Line in the Municipality of Lakeshore. 

As officers arrived on scene and spoke to the driver it was determined that the driver had previously consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a local detachment.

 As a result, Addison ROORDA, 19-years-of-age of Lakeshore has been charged with:

• Operation while Impaired - Alcohol and drugs
• Operation while Impaired - 80 plus

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on August 22, 2025.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
