(TYENDINAGA MOHAWK TERRITORY, ON) - A single vehicle collision on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory has sent two people to hospital.
The collision happened on Thursday, May 29, 2025, just after 10:30 am, on Highway 49, north of Lower Slash Road. A vehicle left the roadway and rolled over.
A female passenger was transported to a regional trauma centre with life-altering injuries. The male driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Highway 49 was closed in the area for several hours to allow for the on-scene investigation and re-opened Thursday evening.
The investigation by the Tyendinaga Police Service is continuing with assistance from the Lennox and Addington Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP TIME (Traffic Incident Management Enforcement) Team members.
