(SELWYN TOWNSHIP, ON) - One individual has been transported to hospital following a serious single motorcycle collision on Youngs Point Road near County Road 20 in Youngs Point.

On Friday, July 4, 2025, at approximately 8:45 pm, members of the Peterborough Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to calls of a motorcyclist who had entered a ditch and was ejected.

The individual was taken to hospital and later airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre with life-altering injuries.

Youngs Point Road remained closed for several hours while emergency crews and OPP Technical Collision Investigators responded to the scene.
