(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - Driver charged with Impaired after single vehicle collision.

On July 8, 2025, at 7:17 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service and local Fire were dispatched to a Melbourne Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for a single vehicle rollover.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

As a result, Robert LEMIEUX, a 61-year-old of Melbourne, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 17, 2025.

There were no injuries reported.
