(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after single vehicle collision in Middlesex Centre

On September 14, 2025, at 3:08 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Highbury Avenue North in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre for the report of a single vehicle rollover.

Investigation revealed a vehicle left the roadway, rolled and came to a stop on its roof.  

The driver fled the vehicle prior to police arrival, however, was located a short distance away on foot.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Nichole MACKINNON, a 26-year-old of South Huron, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on October 29, 2025.
