SPEED ENFORCEMENT LEADS TO IMPAIRED ARREST


(KINCARDINE, ON) - On October 13, 2025, at approximately 7:34 pm, a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was conducting speed enforcement along Bruce Road 15 in the Municipality of Kincardine and stopped a vehicle for stunt driving.

While interacting with the driver, a roadside screening device was administered, registering a fail. The driver was taken into custody and transported to the Saugeen Shores Police Service for further testing.

Joseph GOLDEN, 48-years-old, resident of Tavistock, was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80+, CC 320.14(1)(b)
  • Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt, HTA 172(1)

The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on January 14, 2026, to answer to the charges.
