(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for service of a submerged vehicle in the Ottawa River.

On Friday, October 15, 2025, at approximately 11:15 am, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a marine call for service in Whitewater Region Township. A motor vehicle had been located submerged in the Ottawa River. 

The investigation revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen in 2024 out of Whitewater Region Township.
