STOLEN VEHICLE SLAMS INTO HOUSE
Resident Injured, Vehicle Occupants Flee On Foot
(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP., ON) - The resident of a home in Laurentian Valley Township been injured when his home was struck by a stolen car.
On Tuesday, July 22, 2025, shortly after 11:00 pm, officers with the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the incident on Drive-In Road in Laurentian Valley Township.
A car had left the roadway, became airborne and struck a house. A 78-year-old male in the home was transported to hospital by Renfrew County Paramedics. Injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
The car, which had earlier been reported stolen, was still running and was partially embedded in the side of the house. The driver and a passenger had fled on foot.
Additional officers and a Canine Unit responded to the scene and conducted an intensive search of the area but could not locate the individuals.
