(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM, ON) - A call from the public in relation to a suspicious person led to impaired driving charges.

On July 20, 2025, at approximately 2:30 pm, members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Washington Road in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim for the report of a suspicious person.

As a result of the investigation, Shawna BORSATO, a 39-year-old resident of Cambridge, has been charged with:

• Operation While Impaired
• Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on September 9, 2025.
