(BLANDFORD-BLENHEIM, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle, resulting in one person being charged with impaired driving.

On July 26, 2025, at approximately 10:45 pm, members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on Peter Street in the Township of Blandford-Blenheim.

As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old resident of Woodstock, has been charged with:

• Operation While Impaired
• Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on September 9, 2025.
