SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE LEADS TO ARREST
(KINCARDINE, ON) - On January 15, 2026, at approximately 1:02 am, a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on general patrol in Kincardine when they stopped to check a vehicle that was parked and left running at Victoria Park.
The investigating officer spoke with the occupants and detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was utilized on the driver which resulted in a fail. They were placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Owen KIRK, 21-years-old, of Tiverton, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired (B.A.C. 80+), CC 320.14(1)(b)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice on February 11, 2026, to answer to the charge.
