THEFT FROM BUSINESS RESULTS IN CHARGES


(INGERSOLL, ON) - An individual was charged after stealing sports cards from a business in Ingersoll.

At approximately 11:30 am, on July 24, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment were notified of a theft from a business on Thames Street North in the Town of Ingersoll.

The suspect was arrested and charged, and the merchandise, valued at approximately $268 was returned to the business.

A 28-year-old resident of Ingersoll was charged with Theft Under $5000. The individual was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock on August 19, 2025.
