(MALAHIDE, ON) - Elgin OPP investigating copper vase thefts in Malahide Township.

On June 13, 2025, at 12:35 pm, members of the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address at 8152 Imperial Road in Malahide Township, for the report a theft complaint.

A second complaint was received on June 16, 2025, at 11:06 am, for the report of a theft at the same address.

It is believed that an unknown individual(s) entered the property sometime between June 9 and 13, 2025, and proceeded to steal copper vases from grave sites.

The investigation is continuing.
