(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are urging the public to remove all valuables from their vehicles, as thieves persist in targeting both locked and unlocked vehicles.
On Friday, September 12, 2025, between 6:04 am and 10:40 am, Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to three reports attempted thefts from motor vehicles on Wellington Street and Washington Street in Waterford.
The investigation determined that two vehicles had been unlawfully entered, with no items reported stolen, while an attempt to enter a third vehicle was unsuccessful.
An unidentified individual, described as wearing what appeared to be a Reebok sweater and Nike shoes, was seen leaving one of the locations in a silver Volkswagen sedan.
