(RENFREW, ON) - The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged two people after responding to multiple impaired driving incidents this past week.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at approximately 11:10 pm, Renfrew OPP officers were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) occurrence in the Town of Arnprior.   

As a result of the R.I.D.E initiative, Thann CHUDAUDON age 45 of Arnprior was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 26, 2025.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 8:45 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision in McNab/Braeside Township. 

As a result of the investigation, Collin DESPRES age 42 of Arnprior was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 12, 2025.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 7:20 pm, Renfrew OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision in McNab/Braeside Township. 

As a result of the investigation, Emily BABCOCK age 29 of Horton Township was charged with:

  • Operation while impaired- alcohol
  • Operation while impaired- blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on November 19, 2025.

The individual’s driver’s licences have been suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for seven days.
