THREE PEOPLE CHARGED IN SEPARATE INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INCIDENTS
(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Three individuals have been charged following separate investigations into intimate partner violence incidents.
On Friday, November 28, 2025, at approximately 11:17 pm, the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that two individuals became involved in an altercation inside the home, during which one person physically assaulted and verbally threatened the other. Minor injuries were reported.
As a result, a 62-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal, - Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, at approximately 10:11 am, the Norfolk County OPP responded to a reported assault at a local address.
The investigation found that two individuals became involved in an altercation inside a vehicle, during which one person was physically assaulted, verbally threatened, and had their property damaged. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 38-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offences:
- Assault - spousal, - Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm - spousal, - Mischief - destroys or damages property, - Breach of Recognizance
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, at approximately 6:46 pm, the Norfolk County OPP responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Norfolk County.
The investigation determined that two individuals became involved in an altercation inside the home, during which one person physically assaulted the other. No injuries were reported.
As a result, a 46-year-old Norfolk County resident was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault - spousal
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
