(DUTTON DUNWICH, ON)  One person is charged with impaired driving following a three-vehicle collision in the Municipality of Dutton Dunwich.

On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 7:08 pm, Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to a motor vehicle collision on Iona Road at Talbot Line.

Minor injuries were reported.

Shawn FRASER, 35-years-old from Southwest Middlesex was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

• Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available (Liquor Licence and Control Act)

A 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released on an Undertaking and scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in St. Thomas on the Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
