(ORILLIA, ON) - On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm members of the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Hwy 12 & Memorial Ave.

On July 30, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm, officers from the Orillia detachment of the OPP along with Orillia Fire and Simcoe County Paramedic Services responded to a traffic collision on Hwy 12 & Memorial Ave involving a Motorcycle and Pick-up truck. While on scene one individual, a 64 year-old Orillia male was transported to a Toronto area hospital by Air ORNG with life altering injuries. The Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) attended the scene to assist with the investigation. Hwy 12 East Bound was closed for several hours and has since been reopened.
