(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint in Middlesex Centre.

On June 1, 2025, at 7:56 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Elginfield Road in Middlesex Centre.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Zachary REVELER, a 22-year-old of Ailsa Craig, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Liquor Licence Control Act with:

• Operation while impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Drive motor vehicle - not equipped with ignition interlock device
• Driver - fail to properly wear seat belt
• Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 31, 2025.
