TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE


(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint.

On August 13, 2025, at 12:02 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Elginfield Road in Lucan Biddulph for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located on Main Street in Lucan, Municipality of Lucan Biddulph, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Kimberly COX, a 36-year-old of St. Marys, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Operation while impaired - Alcohol
  • Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on September 29, 2025.
