(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint.

On October 16, 2025, at 3:23 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Elginfield Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Luisa RAPOSO, a 65-year-old of Lucan, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

• Operation while impaired - Alcohol
• Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
• Dangerous Operation

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on November 20, 2025.
