TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE


(SOUTH-WEST OXFORD, ON)  - An individual from the City of London is facing a impaired driving charge following a traffic complaint.

On November 8, 2025, at approximately 2:00 am, the Oxford Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment were dispatched to a report of a possible impaired driver, on Plank Line, in the Township of South-West Oxford. Officers patrolled and subsequently located the vehicle.

Don Thomas, 26-years-old, of the City of London, has been charged with:

  • Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on December 16, 2026.
