(NORTH MIDDLESEX, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint in North Middlesex.
On July 20, 2025, at 3:44 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Elginfield Road in Middlesex Centre for the report of a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle was located on Nairn Road in North Middlesex, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Isaac NICKEL, a 19-year-old of Stratford, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
- Operation while impaired - Alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
- Young driver - B.A.C. above zero
- Use other person’s licence
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on August 14, 2025.
