(NORWICH, ON) - Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oxford Detachment responded to a traffic complaint of a suspected impaired driver in Norwich Township.

On August 9, 2025, at approximately 10:30 pm, members of Oxford OPP were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Norwich Road.

As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old resident of Norfolk County, has been charged with:

• Operation While Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on September 9, 2025.
